Following the opening of our first pilot store in Oudegracht in Utrecht, we are very happy to announce the opening of our second pilot store, located in Hoog Catharijne shopping center in Utrecht!

Our second Hunkemöller Pilot Store in Utrecht is officially open! After the transformation of our Oudegracht store, we’re now bringing the next evolution of Hunkemöller to Hoog Catharijne.
With the expansion of our next store concepts, we are steadily following our journey in redefining the Hunkemöller shopping experience. This new store is more than just a location, it is an elevated shopping experience. The changes that can be seen in the store reflect the future of Hunkemöller, where innovation meets elegance.

Redefining the In-Store Experience
Within the store, we aim to create a luxurious, intimate feel for our customers that fits who we are as a brand. The use of a soft burgundy and pink color palette, rounder design elements, and a more spacious layout can be seen in every corner of the store.
Moreover, when a customer looks at the overall layout of the store, they are able to spot clearly where each collection is located, from the essentials to our seasonal or signature designs. The newer layout store reflects our commitment to creating a premium, welcoming atmosphere.

Smart Design, Smooth Service
The new concept emphasizes functionality alongside aesthetics. Within the store, the rows are placed lower, less products are hanging on the walls, and the more space are placed between our products, so that our customers can view and reach the products more freely.
But the store is not only functional for our customers but also for our people. By having selection hanging in the store and placing storage cabinets right at the bottom of the walls with the different sizes of our products, our team is able to assist customers more efficiently. This results is a more personal and accessible experience, designed around the needs of both our customers and our people.

What's Next?
After the completion and reveal of store renovations in five of Hunkemöller's stores (three in the Netherlands, two in Germany), the upcoming months will reveal insights from these pilot stores. These insights, obtained from our customers and our people, will help us refine the concept before it is gradually rolled out to our stores globally.
