YOUR TASKS

Having a well organized and neatly kept store does not only attract and inspire our customers but also helps them and the store staff to find what they are looking for, therewith positively influences important KPI’s. 

It is very important to Hunkemöller that all stores follow the same set of VM rules and guidelines as we are a global brand and want to have the same inspiring look & feel in all Hunkemöller stores across the globe. 

The Country Visual Merchandiser NL will be reporting to the VM Manager. 

You will be visiting stores in the Netherlands (appr. 80%). Next to that you will be working from our International HQ in Hilversum (appr. 20%).  


Your daily tasks will consist of:   

Main area 1: Store Support 

  • Being the contact person for our stores regarding VM. 

  • Working alongside the Regional Managers to improve the store KPI’s. 

  • Making sure the VM Guidelines are well known and well executed in stores. 

  • Conducting store visits in the most important stores and report back to Regional Managers and HQ VM team. 

  • Being the eyes in the stores and you are in touch with HQ VM team to improve communications and guidelines. 

  • Train and coach store teams in VM by organizing instore training and regular visits to keep the VM level in the stores up. 

Main area 2: Store openings/ Store refits 

  • Preparing store openings product lay out according to the vm guidelines. 

  • Assisting on preparation days before store opening. 

Our perfect candidate will fit this profile: 

  • You’re a talented individual with a strong affinity to Visual Merchandising and gained a minimum of 3 years experience in an area Visual Merchandise position for several stores 

  • You’ve completed either a MBOs, HBOs or Bachelor’s degree 

  • Your eye for both the commercial and the creative business site helps you to bring our VM guidelines to live in our store 

  • You’re fluent in Dutch and English 

  • You have a drivers license, living in the Netherlands and are able to travel to Belgium every now and then.  

  • As a true team coach while explaining our VM guidelines, you’re hands-on and able to work both independently and to our deadlines
