Engineering Manager

Your key responsibilities:

• Manager a team with their daily operational tasks such as fault finding and preventative maintenance on a range of automation (Conveyors, ASRS, AMRs and other machinery), site facilities such as power, pneumatics and waste; office services and all operational machinery
• Manage the third-party providers for the maintenance of the automation, the building, the cleaning, the canteen and other ancillary services
• Procurement of these services alongside our Procurement team (contract scoping and negotiation)
• Procurement of spare parts direct from the OEM and not always relying on the system supplier.
• Project manage changes and upgrades as the site develops.

• Manage internal moves and office placement in relation to the “New Ways Of Working" strategy.
• Daily operations in HQ / Office facility administration and any small upkeep/tasks

• Planning and implementation of maintenance and servicing work

• Participate and on occasion lead the negotiations with third parties for local suppliers, towards our internal customers

What you will need

• 10+ years’ experience in an automation and engineering management field with an affinity for both hard and soft services needed in an automated DC.
• Higher level Diploma or Degree in an engineering discipline
• Siemens PLC experience preferred – but not essential.
• Procurement experience, particularly in engineering services, spare parts and consumables
• Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Systems and ability to procure and set-up a dedicated site-based system.

• Project Management Skills including Budget control.

• Enjoys working across multiple departments with multiple people.

• Fluent in both English and Dutch (preferred)
