Internship Technical Product Development

You’ll run through our “Best internship in Retail” and learn on the job while support the team with following:

• You will be involved in all phases of the product development cycle, including: testing; how to fit and achieve a fit for purpose product for all HKM product types and working closely together with Buying, Design and the HKM suppliers

• You will be helping to send technical comments out to our suppliers

• Assist in weekly fitting session(s) including VC (Video Conference) calls with our international suppliers

• Organize and manage the weekly fit calendar in conjunction with our buying department and suppliers, in line with the seasonal critical path management

• Measure and monitor the HKM fit model measurements on a weekly base

• After fitting sessions, compile and send out supplier comments with technical diagrams and photos within required critical path time frame

• Monitor and complete the sample management overview

• HKM Fabric & Trim library - collate and file new qualities of fabrics & trims

• Assist with other departmental tasks

Our ideal candidate possesses the following skills:

• You are passionate about product and have eye for detail

• You have a strong interest and knowledge in product understanding, product fabrication & finishing

• A proactive approach to the role is really important as we are a fast fashion company. You think outside of the box, are solution driven, you have a flexible approach and you are up for a challenge!

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor/ Masters (TMO, AMFI, Saxion) level studies with the focus on fabrics, making & finishing a product

• You will ideally have already finished your first semesters

• You are fluent in English (written & spoken) with a keen interest in retail to complete your profile
