Our Loss Prevention team is part of one of our most essential support functions, working alongside Health & Safety, Legal, and HR. We focus on fraud prevention and protecting our employees and physical assets, including inventory and hardware in our stores and distribution centers (DCs). Our goal is to ensure that our teams work safely, confidently, and within legal guidelines—both in-store and across our DC locations.
We achieve this by effectively managing risks, safeguarding company assets, and ensuring our stores operate smartly and securely with the available resources.
Your Responsibilities
Analyzing data reports such as refund transactions, loyalty card activity, and inventory lists.
Conducting security rounds and routine checks at our main distribution center to support employees in ensuring inventory is accurately and securely managed, stored, and shipped.
Handling external inquiries, including those from law enforcement.
Supporting the global team with risk management and loss prevention projects in stores.
Writing detailed reports on theft and loss, with recommendations for prevention.
Reviewing CCTV footage in cases of reported criminal activity.
Assisting with inventory audits in DCs and stores, analyzing data to detect potential losses.
Meeting with key internal stakeholders to discuss and follow up on security concerns.
Supporting the development of new technologies and security solutions for our stores and DCs, including our new DC in Almere.
Your Profile
Interest in security and loss prevention within a retail and/or warehouse environment.
Previous work experience in a retail company in loss prevention, security, or a related role.
Fluent in English; Dutch is a big plus, French or Spanish is also a plus.
Confident in providing feedback at all levels.
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience with SAP, BW, or similar data platforms is a plus.
Some knowledge of security-related tools such as alarm gates, EAS tags, and CCTV.
Ability to handle confidential projects and assignments.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Driver’s license and access to a car are strongly preferred.
