Hunkemöller is searching for a passionate and hands-on Omnichannel business analyst to strengthen our E-Commerce team. As business analyst you will operate in an international highly demanding environment in one of the fastest growing areas of retail business. The business analyst mainly works in the field of business administration.

Within omni channel business administration you will support the business with performance reporting, analysis, budgeting, setting up and calculate business cases, participate in checking invoices and collaborate with the other departments such as IT, finance and payment service providers.

You will be responsible for recurring business reporting (weekly and monthly) provided as input for the Hunkemoller business leadership team.

You will perform in-dept performance analysis with the objective to signal areas for improvement, translate and communicate these findings in a crystal-clear format, followed by actionable recommendations see to it that recommendations are implemented, and benefits are harvested.

You will play an important role within the budget process in which sales targets and underlying sales driver targets (KPI’s) are being set for all webshops and profit centers to be distributed over the business year, this will require working with large amount of data and developing advanced calculation models, using data analytics such as power BI and power query.    

You will be responsible for the Omnichannel monthly reporting and input for the finance department delivering cost accruals on which the P&L will be based. Next to this you will also be responsible for checking invoices for large number of international vendors for which services are outsourced and consolidate these in to comprehensive and controlled report overviews.

You will play an important role in preparing business cases on which business decision will be based by the Hunkemoller business leadership team for multi million investment projects, creating insights of project investment (Capex) and margin improvements (Opex).

You will be working closely with payment service providers to gain business insights for improvements and control of operations.

The analytical skills of the business analyst play an important role in the omni channel financial housekeeping and cost control.  As business analyst you will reporting to the omni channel business development manager.

Your main areas of work include:

  • Business reporting, delivery and developing of omni channel business performance reports.
  • Business analysis, implementing recommendations based on analysis and evaluation.
  • Business cases, delivery business case model to drive business decisions.
  • Business budgeting, to deliver sales KPI’s.
  • Business monthly closing and cost accruals.
  • Business invoice control.
  • Business payment service provider.


  • You have a strong passion for e-commerce and retail with 2-3 years of work experience preferably.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with:
    • MS Office, Powerpoint, Visio, within particular Excel, reference formulas, pivot tables, Tableau.
    • Able to handle large amount data for analytics and visual analytics with Power BI, power query,
  • Knowledge of finance and payment service providers is a huge benefit.
  • You desire to work in an international highly demanding and growing business environment.
  • You are hands-on and getting energized by delivering result.
  • You’ve studied business administration at a minimum Bachelors degree.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent command of English, another European language a pre but not required.
  • You take initiative and have the drive to improve, hands-on mentality.
  • The desire to take responsibility and to help stake holders.
  • Adapt quickly to circumstances while remain to have overview.
