Are you the Point of Sales Specialist who wants to take the lead in the configuration of our new state of the art POS – omnichannel landscape? Hunkemöller is looking for a POS expert to join our IT team located in Hilversum near Amsterdam.

In the next step in our World Class Services, we at IT team of Hunkemöller have initiated a project to replace the POS landscape for our 950 stores globally. The project vision is to implement a fully integrated omnichannel system between our new Cow Hills POS systems and our online order management system.

For the project we are looking for an experienced POS specialist who can take ownership of the configuration of the new Cow Hills Retail Online Suite environment as well as supporting the test team and the enterprise architect in assuring to deliver a sustainable system which is ready for global roll out.  After the successful roll out the POS specialist will become part of the Hunkemöller Store IT team as the Cow Hills product specialist.

Your main project tasks will be:

  • Work with the product owners and the IT business analyst to groom the business requirements into technical details.
  • Work with the enterprise architect and the integration specialist in the technical requirements gathering for the integrations and HW specifications, incl analysis of the current HW landscape.
  • Responsible for the configuration and unit testing of the requirements in the Cow Hills RCOS and ROS application server.
  • Create the technical documentation for hand-over to the Store IT support teams.
  • Support the test specialist during the system and acceptance testing, Analysis and solving of defects.
  • Support the NCR service delivery team in creating and reviewing the runbook and implementation dress rehearsal.
  • Create and execute the training of the current Store IT support team on the Cow Hills system.

After the roll out, your main tasks as Cow Hills POS specialist in the Store IT team will be:

  • Provide 3rd level incident management support for Cow Hills POS systems.
  • Execute the business and technical change requests for the Cow Hills POS systems and work close with Cow Hills and the internal IT team to implement new business and technical changes, preferably via the continued scrum methodology.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have finished an ICT related education (preferably bachelor or master's degree, but ambitious MBO level specialists are invited to apply as well)
  • You have at least 2 years' experience in technical support or development of Point Of Sales systems (preferably experience with Cow Hills)
  • Proven experience in retail environments
  • Preferably knowledge of the following middleware layers: Biz Talk, MQ and Omnichannel integrations.
  • You're fluent in English and preferably one other European language (German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Swedish, Danish), both verbal and written
  • You're truly service minded and eager to solve problems for our employees
  • You have preferably project experience, preferably scrum methodology
  • You have 1st,2nd, 3rd and/ or 4th support experience, preferably ITIL processes like incident management, change management, problem management.
  • Preferably experience in Topdesk
