Omni Channel Operations Manager

Hunkemöller is searching for a passionate and hands-on Omni Channel Operations Manager (m/f) to strengthen our current team: 

As our future colleague you would be responsible for the working and ongoing development of our commerce platforms (web shop and App) and managing projects, both quick fixes and complicated integrations of systems for the Hunkemöller business. You would be a linking pin, or actually a ‘interpreter’ between the business and our development agencies.

Currently we operate from our stores worldwide and 11 web shops throughout Europe. Focus countries are Germany and the Netherlands, but we keep extending the number of (online) shops and functionalities. Our web shops are formatted in Magento and migrated to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).

Do you have at least 3-5 years relevant experience in managing (ecommerce) online projects? Are you familiar with Magento? Are you a scrum master? Do you have knowledge of development techniques and excellent communication skills? Then this might be your next job:

Main area 1: Manage the team

  • Currently 2 application managers, 1 business analyst and a change coordinator
  • Develop and implement internal processes to improve team efficiency

Main area 2: Omni Channel Operations

  • Monitor performance of web shops and contact for suppliers in this area
  • Coordinate planning of changes and issues in the support workflow, troubleshoot when necessary and steer external and internal parties
  • Improve support processes
  • Manage suppliers
  • Primary contact for E-Commerce merchandise and shop team for support in daily operations
  • Owner of Integration with Marketing/Sales partners, Product, Store, Payment, Order and Logistics systems

Main area 3: Innovation

  • Continuous improvement cycle for new initiatives in Online and Omni Channel processes
  • Initiate improvements to performance and front-end websites

Main area 4: Projects Support and Management

  • Provide project support for large Ecommerce projects and lead smaller projects
  • Work with internal departments to support E-Commerce-related projects (e.g. CRM integration improvements, sales activities in new countries with concession partners)


  • You’ve a strong passion for e-commerce and retail, where you gained already 5 years of work experience
  • Your strong project and management experience lead you to work flexible within deadlines and find the right priorities
  • You are up to date concerning the latest Omni channel trends and able to set up detailed analyzes on their potential opportunities and integration at Hunkemöller
  • For this position you shall have experienced English skills, preferably also basic knowledge in German
  • HTML and SAP experience would be an advantage, not a must
