Traffic Manager - Marketing Operations

Hunkemöller’s searching for a passionate and hands-on Traffic Manager (m/f) to strengthen our international HQ Marketing Operations team, based in Hilversum, near Amsterdam: Do you have a talent for organizing, planning, monitoring workflows and processes? Can you manage concepts from the initial launch phase to final delivery. Plus can you manage timelines for other marketing and creative related projects within the marketing department and studio? Could you see yourself being the main point of contact between the project stakeholder, marketing department, studio and suppliers? Your responsibilities will be to ensure clear communication between creative, production, videographers, visual merchandise and media related team members. You'll be responsible for keeping everyone on task and projects on deadline. You'll then finish off by checking in with the relevant team members to ensure quality, effectiveness and relevancy. You'll completely engage with your planning schedule and act as a true adviser to internal clients and the studio. Excellent organisational skills are in your DNA, enabling you to create, communicate and monitor planning. You'll prioritise independently and are not afraid to ask critical questions about briefings.  You'll consistently play your part in contributing excellence to the Marketing Operations department and will strive to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.

Our next Traffic Manager will be focused on:

Main area 1: Time Management

  • Managing project timelines from start to finish
  • Managing the marketing campaign calendar
  • Maintain project planning, workflows, timelines and project tracking reports
  • Manage weekly production/creative meetings to align all departments on timelines

Main area 2: Planning & Support

  • Driving the Concept To Launch planning & proactively chase input and review milestones
  • Reporting escalations to Head of Marketing
  • Booking freelancers as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple calendars
  • Providing user support for workflow tools, digital systems, including creating reports, training new users and system administration.

Main area 3: Budget & Resources

  • Updating budget administration and ensuring the budget is met.
  • Balancing client or creative requests versus the available budget.
  • Managing the resources of people and time.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Completed education with a Bachelor, MBO, HBO or similar, in a related field e.g. Graphic Intermediary Traffic/Production Management/Project Management
  • Has gained at least 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Is experienced in project & process management
  • Has experience in a fast paced environment
  • Is knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, SAP; first experience with Adobe CC a plus.
  • Has attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • You're hands-on, assertive and have a pro-active personality, that allows you to balance communication, timing and budget.
  • You take ownership in managing timelines and reporting.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written required
