What will you do?
You will perform incident and business continuity management activities on a phased approach:
Gap analysis of the detection capabilities such as event log triggers, event normalization and visibility, eventual blind spots across the IT landscape
Assistance in the analysis of the threat surface
Reporting on possible improvement areas, especially in the automation of detection and response capabilities
Assistance in the creation and completion of disaster recovery plans.
Analysing possible improvements in the event correlation capabilities and escalation processes.
Other activities arising from the findings and/or correlated to the Project.
About you:
Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of information risk.
Experience or familiarity with SIEM, SOAR or related technologies that enable multi-vector threat visibility across cloud environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with different stakeholder audiences.
Self-motivated and aiming to pursue a career in cybersecurity.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Proactive and curious attitude that enables threat hunting capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria
For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2026. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:
You are an EU citizen,
You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
