We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Buyer to support our buying team in delivering exceptional, trend-forward collections that reflect our brand values and meet the evolving needs of our customers. Reporting to the Buyer, you will play a key role in product development, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Buying

• Support the Buyer in developing seasonal product ranges that are trend-right, commercially viable, and aligned with brand DNA.
• Collaborate with Design and Technical teams to ensure consistency in handwriting, fit, and innovation.
• Assist in fabric and trim consolidation to streamline sourcing and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to fabric and trim development initiatives that elevate product aesthetics and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Design, Technical, CSR/ESG, Logistics, and Legal teams to ensure cohesive, high-performing collections.
• Partner with customer-facing teams including Learning & Development, Marketing, and E-commerce to support product storytelling and education.
• Build strong, hands-on relationships with factories and suppliers to support product strategy and execution.

Operational Excellence

• Assist in managing the critical path to ensure timely product development and delivery.
• Support the preparation of range plans, sales targets, and stock flow in collaboration with Merchandising & Planning.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform future product strategy.

Team & Culture

• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment that reflects Hunkemöller’s values and customer focus.

What You Bring

• A university degree, ideally in fashion, textiles, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a buying role within fashion; lingerie experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and product development processes.
• Experience working with international suppliers, including sourcing from the Far East is highly desirable.
• Commercially savvy with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluent in English; able to work effectively with global teams and partners.
