Hunkemöller is looking for a temporary Social Media manager as a 7month contingency worker for a maternity cover.

You would support the team with the following:

  • Define, develop and drive the global paid media strategy (traditional, digital and social) across different channels
  • Responsible for managing and forecasting the yearly social and media budget ensuring its optimal allocation per channel and KPI achievement
  • Manage agencies and external parties (Google, Tik Tok, FB, etc)
  • Manage the execution of media strategies, media planning and execution of successful social media campaigns. Oversee day-to-day execution of campaigns and ensure brand consistency in content, copy, tone of voice and relevancy, to drive the media KPIs
  • Grow and expand Hunkemoller social media presence into new platforms; increase presence on existing platforms.
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using relevant analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly KPIs, objectives and key initiatives
  • Keep up with the latest trends on social media and within the influencer community
  • Define social media KPIs and ensure that those are met each financial period
  • Collaborate closely with our creative, PR, buying and merchandising teams for rapid and seamless execution
  • Collaborate closely with Performance team for full funnel activation.
  • Manage the paid media team on planning and executing the paid media campaigns
  • champion a culture of testing and experiments within the team and lead them towards reaching KPIs
  • lead and drive the external agencies towards the best marketing mix investment 
  • shape processes and optimize them within budget and P&L.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following skills:  

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in media and digital. Media agency experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor, HBO or Masters degree in (online) marketing/communications
  • Capable of working in a flexible environment to react to the changing needs of the business.
  • Truly understand numbers and the meaning behind them and capable of reading and understanding the mechanism of a P&L.
  • A natural born leader with great communication skills and experience in building and managing outcome-focused teams
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
  • Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
  • Proven track record of successfully executing online marketing strategies and in growing social media channels
  • Good knowledge about the social media landscape (especially Facebook and Instagram; Others are a pre) and expertise in managing and growing social media platforms
  • Ability to analyze and advise on creative content ideas
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication, writing and language skills; fluent in English (other languages are pre)
  • Multitasking, able to handle stress and strong analytical skills (experience with Google Analytics and Business Manager are required)
  • Commercially and creatively minded
  • Process driven and demonstrate an ability to deliver in a timely manor
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, proactive and driven
