Hunkemöller’s looking for a Diversity and Inclusion Expert to join our Global HR team.

The Diversity and Inclusion Expert is a new role within Hunkemöller and is responsible for designing and implementing all D&I initiatives. This concerns store employees as well as employees in our Head offices and Distribution Center across the globe. As a company we are passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive (work) environment in which people feel that they belong. One of our Brand Values is ‘Inclusive' and after us taking several initiatives to drive this topic over the past years we feel it's time for the next level. In this role you will be responsible for formulating a vision on D&I, translating this vision into a concrete action plan for all levels and department and ensuring the plan is implemented by setting out actions yourself as well as partnering up with other departments.

Your responsibilities:

In this role you will liaise with various departments in Hunkemöller to initiate and support D&I initiatives. We are looking for someone with a positive mindset and hands-on mentality that is eager to put D&I on the roadmap and get others involved in this topic.

  • Formulate a vison on D&I within Hunkemoller
  • Further develop our D&I year plan.
  • Managing the timelines and quality of the various projects.
  • Creating education material to  Hunkemöller employees on D&I.
  • Setting out initiatives to stimulate dialogue to create an inclusive culture
  • Monitor the corporate culture, policies and practices by analyzing, researching and advising. Develop and maintain reports to drive accountability, measure progress and prioritize initiatives.
  • Support and guide departments to create a brand that appeals to diversity and is free of bias.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments (e.g., L&D-, Recruitment-, Marketing team and internal D&I Community).
  • During regular travels to all territories, you gather more insights, educate yourself on cultural differences and collaborate with our local teams

YOU...:

  • Have practical work experience in a D&I role or a proven track record showing passion for this topic.  
  • Are a strong communicator.
  • Are inspiring and an easy to go to person.
  • Are fluent in English (both verbal and in writing). An additional language is a plus.
  • Are structured and have good project management skills.
  • Are pro-active and have a ‘get things done' mentality.
  • Are enjoying building relationships.
  • Have an active network in the field of D&I.
