The Social Media Specialist (m/f) is a key position within the successful Hunkemöller Omni Channel organisation. The main task is managing all performance based (social media) display campaigns. You own the revenue and traffic targets and are based on our international HQ in Hilversum, near Amsterdam.

The Social Media Specialist (m/f) is a key position within the successful Hunkemöller Omni Channel organisation. The main task is managing all performance based (social media) display campaigns. You own the revenue and traffic targets and are based on our international HQ in Hilversum, near Amsterdam. 

As Social Media Specialist you'd be responsible for sales through social advertising in over 11 countries throughout Europe. You'll set up the strategy, run the campaigns and are responsible for both optimization and innovation. Hunkemöller has a strong emphasis on innovation and being first to market with new functionalities. Next to that you will also be responsible for our (micro) influencer program and build/maintain relationships with fashion influencers.

Your tasks & responsibilities would be:

  • Social Campaign Management
  • Manage Facebook and other social platforms' campaigns in 11 European countries

  • Focus on innovation particularly on- to offline campaigns

  • Robust reporting and KPI management

  • Initiate long term improvements either commercial, technical and/or process wise

  • Creating and executing a (micro) influencer marketing strategy

  • Stimulating the content creation of user generated content

Agency Coordination

  • Effectively utilize actionable support from external online marketing agencies

Coordination of internal departments 

  • Liaise with Marketing and Online Traffic teams for total funnel alignment

  • Inform internal departments of social media activities

  • Ensure internal departments' requirements are reflected in performance based social media activities

  • Ensure internal departments' requirements are reflected in performance based social media activities

  • Collaborate with internal departments to make sure our newest collections are featured

Our ideal candidate has/is:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in online campaign management

  • A strong passion for online traffic social media and influencer marketing

  • Strong (online) marketing and analytical skills

  • Native Dutch or German speaker

  • Fluent in professional English

  • Self starter; whilst great at planning & organizing

  • Knowledge of or experience in the fashion industry is not required but considered an asset

  • Experience with feed-based advertising (DPA) and DABA is a plus

  • A strong drive for results, initiative & improvement-orientation

  • Able to work under pressure
